Almost forgot!!!

Well it's the last day of the month today and i was hoping to get another challenge done, but in amongst all the craziness of a bubba with Broccollitus, it just never happened - and i almost forgot to share my entry for the Purple Pumpkin sketch of the month!!! I used their sketch this month for my first year calendar album that i'm creating for Scarlet:

Isn't she just the most darling little bunny?

I had some fun with these buttons on this LO - check out how i've stamped them!! Aren't they cute!! Definitely got to do this again!! I really do have to use more stamping in my scrapping - i've got so many lovely stamps!!! I had a bit of fun stamping around the outside of the LO too :D

I had some fun joining in at the Scrapboutique April Cybercrop last weekend, and i actually managed to win with one of my LO's! Here's what i came up with:

I'm going to be busy for the rest of the week making bits and pieces for the Scrapbooking Top 50 Crafters Markets. I've got some yummy bottle tops, fabric buttons and yo-yo's that i think look awesome :D Hope you will join me at the markets - they are always full of so much talent!!!

My Bunny Girl

Yesterday i showed you my tiger boy, so today i'll show you my bunny girl!!

Of course this is an easter LO, and i've created it for the Scrapboutique Monthly challenge - an inspiration challenge where the image was lots of wooden painted eggs - all pastel colours. I found this gorgeous tissue paper in Big W before easter and I'm so glad that i snatched it up when i did!!

Isn't that Prima bling just delicious? I've added some yummy My Vintage Blossoms and a bit of Purple Pumpkin, plus some old Heidi Swapp felt butterflies i stumbled across recently - aren't they cute? Got some in blue too - going to have to find a use for them!!!

This next LO i did based on the Scrapbooking From Scratch sketch of the month, using an Echo Park kit that i won last year during the Scrapbooking From Scratch Sketchaday comp. It's a fabulous kit and i've used it a few times now, but still finding uses for it!!

Did you spot some of my Olive Roses on the page? The cute little fabric yo-yos with wooden buttons? These will be available in the next sale!

My Tiger Boy

I had a lovely night at my local shop on Friday night, and i actually got 2 pages done!! I can't remember the last time i got 2 pages done in a night!!

The first one was for a PageMaps comp. I just love using pagempas - they are the most fantastic sketches - so much more than your average sketch - the lovely detail is just so inspiring, and i never fail to produce a fabulous (in my opinion ;D) page from Becky's amazing sketches!!

Here's the sketch and the page i created with it:

How cute is my boy - this was the first time he ever let someone paint his face! He was stoked once it was done and so glad he did it!!! Such a simple thing, but how much we can learn to let go from moments like this with our children!

I'm running low on batteries for my laptop so i'll leave it there tonight! Have a great week everyone!!

Homemade goodies

Well, i may not be doing much scrapping right now, but i've been very busy making bits and pieces!!!

Here are two hoots that went to their new home today - Hoot and Hootabelle - aren't they adorable?

Uploaded from the Photobucket iPhone App

Poor Calvin is just DYING for me to do a Hootabelle for Scarlet (so he can play with it!!!!), but i've got 4 more on order to complete before i get to Scarlet's!! I am promising myself that i need to make her one for her first birthday!!

I've also been busy making a few eggs for Calvin for easter - he just adores eggs, so i know he's going to have a great time playing with these, come easter Sunday. I'm thinking about doing a couple for Scarlet with some little bells in them too!

I don't think i shared my hat's that i've made recently either!! Here is a gorgeous hat from the very talented Ysolda - isn't it a great design!!! I think i should have made it a little longer for Jeremy though...

And this darling hat that Calvin is wearing was made for a friend's birthday - he's in England right now, so we thought it would be a fun birthday gift for him! The pattern is 'aviatrix', and it's a pattern i've been wanting to do for a while. Love the outcome and i think i'll be making a couple more of these!!!

Last share for tonight is something i've been working on for an upcoming Olive Roses sale. What do you think? I just love these fabric yo-yo's - especially this size - they are about 30mm :D
